Data and purpose
- Device and push-notification identifiers and test preferences, used to provide availability alerts.
- Purchase, entitlement and invite records, used to verify and restore access. Apple handles payment details.
- For Auto Booking: RSA account and work-order identifiers, preferences and booking results. This data is required to use Auto Booking.
- Limited app-interaction, IP-security and error data, used to secure and improve the service. Firebase Analytics may process events where enabled.
Auto Booking compares cancellations with your preferences and may book a match. You can change or stop it in the app.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing relies on performance of a contract or steps you request, legal obligations, legitimate interests in security and improvement, and your consent for notifications.
Sharing
Data is shared as needed with Apple, Google Firebase, RSA/MyRoadSafety, MyGovID, service providers acting for us, and authorities where legally required. Some providers may process data outside the EEA using applicable safeguards. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Retention
Data is kept only while needed for the service, security, disputes or legal obligations.
Use Delete Account in the app to delete your DriveNow account and associated data. Deleting the app alone does not notify our server.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Use Delete Account in the app or email support@drivenowapp.ie. We may verify your identity and retain records where legally required. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or your local data-protection authority.
